THE HOUSE

Built in 1774 as the living area of an L-shaped large house in the center of town, next to the church, and on top of the little hill between two valleys. Recently renovated, the house has that particular charm of ancient manoirs. Think wine cellar, big fire place, spacious wooden attic,.. and you are getting close.

THE TERRACE WITH PANORAMIC VIEW

Ever since the middle of last century this terrace was covered with – quintessential Belgian – extensions, attachments and then some. We tore it all down, to return to the original 18th century plan. And hence, there it was: the beautiful terrace looking over the Faux-Ri valley (East), the village center (North) and the garden (South). No better place to relax…and forget your worries. Sans souci, remember?

THE GARDEN

In the shadow of an old walnut tree, and surrounded by an ancient wall, this garden is every bit as bohemian like you. Two apple trees, two pear trees, one prune tree and – oh yes – a magnolia, will one day make it into a beautiful orchard. With two little terraces – one facing the rising sun, and one the setting sun – you can yoga till you put the no mas in namaste.
